About Shimmer

Shimmer is a 1.5-2.5 year old little Chihuahua/Terrier mix. Shimmer came to Brighter Days with 13 other dogs who were in a hoarding case in Texas.�%A0 They were actually well taken care of at the beginning, but it was an older couple in their 90's who let it get out of control and they continued to reproduce.�%A0 Before they knew it, they had almost 30 dogs with many being pregnant.�%A0 We stepped in to help and stop the cycle.�%A0 Shimmer came in with her 6MO son who has since found his forever home.�%A0 Shimmer is now ready to find her own forever home. Shimmer is a sweet, very loving little dog.�%A0 She is a little shy at first but warms up quickly and gets attacked quickly.�%A0 She would love to live in a calm environment where she could just get all the love and snuggles all the time.�%A0 She is doing well on potty training and listens well.�%A0 She is honestly just such a sweet dog.�%A0 She is one of those dogs that truly melts right into when she is snuggled up close and becomes your shadow quickly.�%A0 She gets along well with other dogs and people.�%A0 Little kiddo's do overwhelm her sometimes but she would be okay with them if needed.�%A0�%A0 If you are interested in adopting Shimmer, please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com�%A0
