About CHONG

'CHONG' is a 1.5 yr old, 50 lb. Labrador Retriever mix male rescued from being surrendered to a high kill dog pound, due to the death of his owner, along with his canine siblings 'Cheech' and 'Daisy'. Chong is a big ol' sweetie who also loves his kennel. A really lovable boy. Chong enjoys going outside but is super happy& excited to come back indoors. Chong initially can be a bit more standoffish than his brother 'Cheech' because he isn't as confident in nature, but once he warms up, is eager to please and very loving. Chong gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He would make a great companion dog for a slightly older, more confident, resident dog. Chong has been neutered, de-wormed, is current on vaccinations, on monthly heart worm preventative, crate-trained and house-trained. This rescue does not administer it's own vaccination shots. All of our rescued dogs' medical care has been administered by a licensed Veterinarian. All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., pro-biotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
