About Sheila

Adoption Fee: $250
Australian Cattle Dog
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

This cute young gal is Sheila, a nearly two year old Australian Cattledog who was born in June 2018. She weighs about 32 pounds. Sheila is ready to learn. She already knows sit. She is crate trained and just about done with house training. Sheila is a sweet girl. She starts out timid but worms up to new folks who are patient and take it slow. Sheila is also nice with other dogs. She starts timid here, too, but polite dogs have her feeling comfortable after just a bit. Being timid in general is just because she is deaf. Since she can't really hear, she starts soft and then warms up when she sees that she is safe. Sheila is a great adventure partner. She is good on leash and gets excited to go for walks. She is pretty good in the car so will enjoy things like hiking and camping. Sheila is still a pup and likes to be kept busy. If she gets bored, she does what other pups do...she chews. This is easy to manage. Just keep her as busy as a Cattledog should be kept. Sheila is very affectionate and playful. She Still has puppy playful nippiness, so isn't a fit for small kids. Whomever ends up being Sheila's person will have a fun and devoted companion. Sheila is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She is located in San Diego, CA. We do not ship our dogs. She is available for a meeting and adoption in SoCal. A home visit and vet reference are required.
