About LuLu

Adoption Fee: $325
Lab / Pit Bull
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

LuLu is likely 2.5- 3yr old, Chocolate lab mix She is on a trial basis so we dont know yet if she is available or not. She looks like a chocolate lab only smaller with white feet. She could have a bit of pit, doesn't look like much pit. What a doll! EXTREMELY sweet and had worn and electric shock collar for some time and the owners would use it any time she got after the cats. She got very paranoid and the minute you would be ANY collar on her she would hit the ground and just totally shut down. We moved her to the harness and now she does great. She has even let us put a light-weight collar on her without a reaction but we don't use it to lead her. She is so sweet and sleeps in the bedroom with my grandson. She's a good girl and makes no mess. She is insecure around other dogs and needs to be socialized with other dogs. She is overweight and could use less food and more exercise. She's very good with people. The adoption includes neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, transport with one of our professional dog transporters, 6 mos of heart work prevention, and 30 days of FREE emergency medical insurance. If you have any questions, text me... 210-394-6060. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the on-line application. http://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ You can also go to our Face Book page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. IMPORTANT INFO: If you are interested in this pup/dog, please fill out the application (link listed above). The rescue will contact you once the application is received. Although we strive to answer everyone, due to the high volume of inquiries we receive, we cannot guarantee a response to all emails. Filling out the application is the best way and ensures a response from the rescue. In addition, while you are emailing us, if others apply, you can lose out adopting the dog you chose. We have hundreds and hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. However, if you are applying or have applied anywhere else, we do need to know that. Also, please note that we are almost always holding adoption events on Saturdays at noon at Pet Works in Olympia, Washington if you would like to meet with us in person. Pricing: Adoption fees vary. Young puppies are usually $495 (can be more). Fees vary from $300 to $800; depending on age, breed, training, behavior, etc. There are no additional fees, surcharges, or taxes added. Our adoption fees cover the cost of transportation from Texas and the necessary health certificate documentation. The fees also include all medical costs to make sure the pups are appropriately vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and spayed/ neutered. Additionally, any dogs over 6 months have had a negative heart-worm test. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and a myriad of other vetting. If the adoption fees seem high (which never cover the true cost of rescue), we recommend fostering for a good rescue. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees. We are always in need of good fosters. We are all volunteers and many of us donate 70+ hours/week and thousands/year of our own funds. WA and OR shelters are funded by taxpayers, hence, many have lower adoption fees. SHANYE'S FOSTERS is a group of foster parents in the Olympia/Tumwater area. We foster dogs for rescues to assist them in adopting/rehoming of dogs by listing on this site. We donate all volunteers to assist in getting these dogs forever homes. All adoption fees go towards helping more dogs in need. No one receives a salary. Shayne's Fosters is not responsible for any experience you have with any dog you might see posted on this site. They are the property of the sponsoring rescue who will supply all medical supporting records which is given with each dog when adopted. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. Since worldwide over 1/2 billion puppies/dogs are PTS yearly and over 9,000/day just in U.S. shelters, yes even entire litters of puppies are PTS daily in many US shelters! Hence, we firmly believe there is NO breed other than rescue for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these pre
