About Floppy

Floppy is a 1-2 year old malinois-cross. She is approximately 50-55 lbs. I just had her spayed and fully vaccinated. She is also taking NexGuard to ward off fleas and ticks. She is currently staying at a doggy daycare so she is getting lots of exercise and interaction with other dogs. She is very sweet and on the submissive side when meeting dogs and people, however she doesn't appear to be fearful. We haven't tested her with cats or kids at this time. She is crate trained at night and when no one is home. I found her standing in traffic about 3-4 weeks ago. She wouldn't move when cars drove at her, so I stopped to see what was wrong. She was very friendly - turns out she has been a stray her entire life (which is strange since she is really sweet and well behaved). She has been living at a drilling yard in Roswell, NM. They cannot keep her out of the road, so they agreed I could take her to my vet for spay, vaccines and boarding. My friend agreed to foster, but has since been ill and in & out of the hospital and cannot care for her. Thus, I am boarding her at my doggy daycare. She is currently located in Roswell, NM but we can absolutely transport for the right person/family. I think she would do best in a home with at least 1 other dog - at daycare she is around 3-10 dogs at any time. She is playful and loves to run.
