About Jax

**PLEASE READ JAX'S BIO THOROUGHLY BEFORE INQUIRING, ALL REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET FOR CONSIDERATION** This is Jax, our handsome Maltipoo boy! Jax is a 4 year old, approx 18lb male Maltipoo. He came to us when his owner who had him as a puppy, had a baby and the fiance decided that Jax had to go. Poor Jax was kept in a crate so many hours during the day and was not treated the way he deserved to be. The owner surrendered him over to our rescue and now he is ready to find a LOVING forever home. Jax seems to be a very sweet and affectionate boy, but does take some time to feel that he is completely safe, which is very understandable. He is a bit nervous and anxious around new people and surroundings, because of this we DO NOT want him in a home with young children, kids over 16 year old and older are fine. Jax can go in a home with another calm and mellow dog or he can be an only dog, ONLY if he has owners that are around most of the day or work from home. Due to his insecurities and anxiousness, we do not want him in a home where he will be left for hours and hours alone. He is a dog that wants to be near you and feel that security that he has never had. He would love a home with a yard where he can get some fresh air and play in. Jax is a Maltipoo and they require grooming almost every 6 weeks, so you need to consider this when inquiring. He seems to be potty trained with outdoor access, but we never guarantee it with a rescue dog. Jax is a boy who just wants love and wants to feel loved. Isn't that what all dogs deserve? Jax is microchipped, vaccinated and neutered.
