About Alyeska

Adoption Fee: $175
Australian Shepherd / Border Collie
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

I've never had a name before. I'm not sure what one is. I do know I'm named after a city in Alaska because Alaska used to be my rescuers home and it reminds them of beauty and strength. They say they see that in me and the other dogs I came here with. I'm small and a good size for a home. I'll learn to trust and love in this place and then I'll be ready for a home of my own! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Intake Date: 13 Mar 2020 ----- Age at intake: 1 yr ----- Breed: unknown mix ----- Size: 30 lbs ----- Status: hoarding case surrender ----- Compatible with: dogs. Have not cat or child tested yet ----- Suitable for: home with a securely fenced yard, no apartments, etc. Must have another dog and willing to train and work through her trauma. ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: decompressing so will know more. Scared and no training ----- Additional Notes: Alyeska came from the same situation as 9 other dogs rescued by FBS. A severe hoarding case. Because of her past, she has no training but she is interested in affection and learning to be a part of a family. She is terrified of the leash and if being taken anywhere but really likes being pet and given treats. We feel she will come around quickly just like Ink, Vanta, Barley, and Ophelia did. -------------------------------------------------------%BD'%BD%90---------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption is finalized at that time. FBS standard adoption fee is $175 and all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are not guaranteed but often a best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. If a yard is present, a secure fence is mandatory. -------------------------- Medical expenses incurred thus far: Rabies - $25; DHPP - $33; Spay - $140; Microchip - $10; Deworm - $20
