About Dottie

Available for adoption is, Dottie, the sweetest senior pomeranian you will ever meet. She knows no strangers whether human or furry and has lots of pep in her step. Dottie came to PPR from a high kill shelter after she was surrendered by her owner. Unfortunately, we discovered this sweatheart lived a life of neglect where she was left alone for day and they forgot to feed her. She has large scars on the back of her head and at her tail from some unknown trauma during her life. However, she has taken it all in stride and enjoys the company of other dogs. She also loves to be with her people. Dottie is about 11 pounds and said to be 15 years old. She is completely healthy except some luxating patellas and cataracts. This beautiful soul has so much love to give and life to live and we would love to see that happen with a family of her very own that will make up for all the neglect she endured. Dottie walks well on a leash, loves car rides, and gets along with other pets flawlessly. She is pretty good with potty habits, but it does take a few days to get in the routine of things.
