About Fiona

Fiona is a ball of energy that is looking for her perfect family! She plays well with other dogs and would love a fur friend to play with! It makes it easier to get her energy out and Fiona learns well watching her foster siblings. Fiona would love a fenced in yard because she loves to be outside. Fence must be 5 feet or higher because this girl has hops! It takes .2 seconds for her to go from ground to lap, which is one of her favorite places to be. She also likes to perch on your shoulder even though we've told her many times she's not a parrot. Fiona is a sweet and snuggly girl who adapts quickly, but needs patience. She was outside on her own before coming to rescue so she can be skittish and fearful in new or loud situations. This is why Fiona would be best with older children. Fiona needs a family that is going to commit to training and socializing her so that Fiona can overcome her fears. She loves to meet new people and go new places. She needs her new experiences to be slow and people to be patient and respectful of her boundaries. She does have A LOT of puppy energy and is very eager to learn so she would benefit greatly from training classes to improve her manners
