She was extremely fearful and trying to bite staff so they requested rescue. She has been here for a few weeks and has stopped snapping however she is still very skittish. She will need a very interactive adopter that can work on socialization and gaining her trust. Temperament- Very happy, playful, and loving with the other dogs. Scared of people. Energy Level- Average energy. Like to play with the other dogs. Hangs out in the living room of the foster home. Likes to chew stuff and play chase with the other dogs. Dogs/Cats- Great with other dogs. Can do a cat intro if needed Housetrained- Going in and out every few hours and doing great. Hasn't had accidents in about a week. This adorable girl is showing signs of wanting to love people. She has learned what kennel and out means. She is treat motivated and wags her tail. She will make a wonderful addition to any loving, dog savvy home. Will do best with adults as she is still scared of people so isn't going to just take to a child wanting a puppy to hold and play with. She does wag her tail and go up to my 9 year old granddaughter but she is very quiet and patient around dogs and used to having rehab dogs here. So she might do very well with a quiet child that wants a project to train and socialize with a parents help. She will need to be kept on leash, given treats, handled often, and taken out in public to gain confidence. Adoption fee $200 includes spay, age appropriate vaccinations (4 for puppies), deworming, microchip, rabies, collar and leash, training information, and all the support you need. Send us an e-mail to [email protected] requesting an application to adopt this sweetie!! Animals are seen by appointment only. An application must be submitted to us prior to making an appointment.
