For more photos please visit our Facebook page. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Almost-Home-New-Mexico/203840136304815 Approximate DOB 9/1/2019 Size - He is a small dog History- Turned in to a local shelter by his owner as they had too many dogs. He was extremely fearful so they requested rescue. He has been here for a few weeks and has stopped snapping however he is still very skittish. He will need a very interactive adopter that can work on socialization and gaining his trust. Temperament- Very happy, playful, and loving with the other dogs. Terrified of people. Energy Level- Average energy. Like to play with the other dogs. Hangs out in the living room of the foster home. Likes to chew stuff and play chase with the other dogs. Dogs/Cats- Great with other dogs. Can do a cat intro if needed Housetrained- Going in and out every few hours and doing great. Hasn't had accidents in about a week. This adorable little boy will make a wonderful addition to any loving, dog savvy home. Will do best with adults as he is terrified of people so isn't going to just take to a child wanting a puppy to hold and play with. He will need to be kept on leash, given treats, handled often, and taken out in public to gain confidence. Adoption fee $200 includes spay, age appropriate vaccinations (4 for puppies), deworming, microchip, rabies, collar and leash, training information, and all the support you need. Send us an e-mail to [email protected] requesting an application to adopt this sweetie!! Animals are seen by appointment only. An application must be submitted to us prior to making an appointment.
