About Amelia Rose

Hello, my name is Amelia Rose! I am an 8 year old Russian Blue mix girl! I have gorgeous blue gray fur and a petite frame! I was rescued from homelessness and as a result my fur was matted and in need of a significant haircut. The last picture of me is how long my fur will be once it grows back. I was homeless for awhile and I had to use my survival skills, which means that I am shy and working hard to decompress and relax. I am searching for a patient adopter who will help me to acclimate and feel comfortable, and who will understand that my behavior is a skill that kept me alive when I was homeless and that it takes time to adjust. I love sitting on laps and cuddling, and so very much appreciate having my fur brushed. I went to the vet and had a dental cleaning and extractions and I am feeling on top of the world. I would love to be an only pet (or live with another low key older cat) with an adopter who is experienced with initially shy kitties. My $45 adoption fee includes vet check, spay, vaccinations, negative feline leukemia test, dental cleaning and extractions, microchip, food, and some nice extras.
