About Stella

This is Stella and she is a gorgeous, happy, and intelligent purebred white German shepherd between 3-4yrs old. We are heartbroken because we are moving and not able to take her with us. She is very well-behaved at home, is potty-trained, crate trained, non-destructive, rarely barks, walks well on leash, and knows basic commands. She loves playing with toys but enjoys napping at your feet just as much. Stella is a very social, playful dog with tons of personality. She loves people and has been good with children visitors--a family with children/young adults would probably be her ideal household, though she would also be fine with a smaller family. Unfortunately, Stella has shown aggression towards other dogs and requires a home where she is the only dog and no small animals are present. She has attended 'reactive dog' training and made good progress, but she will still become overly excited and fight if in close contact with other dogs. Because of her energy and anxiety level, adopter must have ample experience with working or herding breeds and be willing to invest the time and energy to provide regular exercise and mental stimulation. A home with a fenced in yard for her to run would be ideal as well as an active individual or family that does not spend long hours away from home.
