About Dan

Dan came to us one of 10 dogs seized in a felony cruelty case. He was extremely emaciated on arrival and is now up to 48 lbs. and still gaining. He is being treated for demodectic mange and is doing much better. Dan is very sweet and walks well on a leash. He still eats fast and that may never change. He is not quite ready just yet. He is filling out nicely and just adores people. He is most definitely NOT a hunting dog, he prefers a nice soft bed and doesn't mind getting a warm bath. We do adopt out of area, however the adopter will have to make more than one trip to pick up their animal. There are no exceptions. All animals must we at least 2 lbs. for surgery.
