About Budgie

Foots (blue/white spangled) and Frodo are a bonded pair of male parakeets and caged with 2 other parakeets...they will be 1 yr old on April 14th. They enjoy their time in and out of their cage, they are out of their cage most of the day and have the freedom of going in and out for food and water...both are very gentle when you have to handle them but they are very timid around people. Unfortunately they are not hand tamed, but as stated very gentle and with the right person who has the time I am sure you can have them eating out of your hands. Foots seems to be the daddy of the flock and always looking out for his friends. They love to play and chew on the toys provided. The right person would be someone who has a larger cage and out of the cage activities/swings/tunnels/straw mats/shredded paper etc. They are on a premium blend of seed from Chirp Central in Massachusetts and they also love organic carrots, spinach and apples.
