About Morgan

1 year old male Jack Russell Terrier mix, about 20 pounds. Morgan is very active young dog who loves playing with his foster brother a lot! Morgan came from a hoarding home with his brothers Lambchop and Primo. He is albino and inbred which gave him a couple of unique 'features'. His right eye is underdeveloped and he is effectively blind on that side. His left eye is light blue and very light-sensitive. He also has a major hearing problem, maybe total deafness. Neither of these things cause him any problem with getting around in this world and being a normal dog, but being handicapped means that you must accommodate for him a bit. We have started a special deaf dog training program to help him look to his human for guidance. He is super cute in person, as he can take a pretty bad picture. :) He is kinda clumsy because of his vision, but he adapts to new environments quickly. He is very cuddly and would love to sleep in your bed. Morgan's house training is still in progress but other dogs' example helps with that. With some patience, he may overcome his handicap and be a great companion, loyal and sweet! Adoption contract and fee applies. All adoptable dogs can be met at adoption events hosted every weekend. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
