About Murphy

Murphy is a handsome, sweet and shy, 11-year-old, 41-pound, male cream Shar Pei looking for a loving guardian. Murphy is nervous with new people at first and will growl when he's uncomfortable. But he's absolutely wonderful once you get to know him. He'll be great with an experienced Shar Pei-lover. He is good with select dogs at the kennel - mostly females, but some males. Sadly, his human is in hospice and he was given to rescue to find a home. Because he's nervous, he's best with adults and teens, and not small children. He is a healthy seniore, de-wormed, up-to-date on vaccines, neutered, heartworm-tested, on monthly preventative and micro-chipped.
