Those sweet, skittish eyes peered through me and immediately touched my heart. Left to starve, it was obvious that she was only moments from her inevitable demise. Her dirty, matted hair and complete and utter fatigue was the least of her worries. Out of all options, her sole focus was a fleeting hope that she would maybe find a morsel of sustenance to satisfy her burning hunger. Who can leave the helpless to fend for themselves? God works in mysterious ways and brought this sweet dog into our path. Fast forward to now, she is a fun-loving dog who is protective, loyal and enjoys attention. She has been given the name Puddin because she has a spotted tongue that looks as if she has sneaked a few licks of a desert. While we would love it if we were in the position to keep her, unfortunately we are not. Based probably on her prior unknown history, she has shown some food aggression with our other small dog. She has never shown aggression directed toward us, except for one time she growled at our toddler. Puddin would make a wonderful companion and bring un-ending enjoyment for someone who has no small children and no other small animals. She has hip dysplasia, but it does not seem to slow her down much and she otherwise seems in good shape. It is our whole-hearted hope and prayer that someone reading this will fall in love with Puddin's same sweet eyes that brought her into our life. We will be forever grateful to anyone who would be able to help us find someone to provide another happy chapter in Puddin's life story. Please help us find a loving home where Puddin can be appreciated as much as we have.
