About Cullen (west)

Hi, my name is CULLEN - ID#A4346495. I am a neutered male, brindle American Pit Bull Terrier mix, and I weigh about 61 lbs. The shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 4 months old, and I have been at the shelter since Nov 23, 2019. Cullen is so handsome. He knows 'sit'. He loves to run and has some energy, and he did ok with a social female. May be best as an only dog though. Here are some notes from volunteers who recently spent time with Cullen: 2/18/2020 ENRICHMENT Canine was easy to pull from kennel. Walked well on a leash with no jumping or pulling. Nonreactive. Affiliative with handler. Explored yard, was playful. Canine's behavior has improved since last time handler had the canine out. 2/20/2020 ENRICHMENT Easy pull, exits quickly to outside. Easy to handle on leash. Return always challenge gets reactive going into building and hesitant going into kennel . Gave hot dog and seemed ok. 2/23/2020 ENRICHMENT Participated in doggy speed dating: Aroused in kennel. Pulls moderate on leash. Chaperone stated dog was very easy going and gentle. He was not interested in toys. He sat near people and enjoyed being pet. 2/26/2020 ENRICHMENT Excited when handler approached kennel. Easy pull and to walk on leash. Friendly with handler. Cullen has been at the shelter for over 90 days and is now at 'immediate' risk for euthanasia. Please consider Cullen for your next furry family member.
