HAS BEEN PLACED ON EUTHANASIA LIST. Hi, my name is SPIRO - ID#A4373181. I am a neutered male, red and white American Pit Bull Terrier, and I weigh about 56 lbs. The shelter staff think I am about 7 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Jan 27, 2020. This sweet boy is about 7 years old, but has the spirit and exuberance of a much younger pup. He is a great story teller, and is always happy to hear about your day. Away from the shelter he's shown nice manners and walks well on leash. Kennel-life has been hard on Spiro, he's grown restless and we fear he is deteriorating in this environment. He may need a more experienced foster or adopter to address some impulse control and mouthiness, but misses being part of a family, so if you or anyone you know is looking for a companion, please consider Spiro!
