Meet Hunter - Available for Adoption Albemarle NC Hi! My names Hunter. I am a 5 year old boxer mix who is looking for a family to call mine. I absolutely love to play outside and be in the sunshine. I'm a little shy at first but just give me time and I'll be your very best friend. Like so many other dogs, I've had several homes which is why I long for a place and family to call my own. I love to playing with other dogs (females work best for me). I'm also a fast sprinter. So if you're a runner, you and I will become running partners quickly. I just love to run when I get excited. I'm also a very smart dog. I signal when it's time for a potty break. I very good on a leash with no pulling. I don't care for cats. So my best home would not have a cat family member. I know my family is looking for a dog and this dog is looking for a family. Complete an application. Once you are approved, my rescue will let us meet. And you'll love me :-) I promise XOXO Hunter From Hunters foster dad: Hunter is an amazing, loving, gentle beautiful boxer. He is so incredibly handsome and well mannered. He absolutely loves to chew on bones and chewy treats. He gets so excited. We have been working very hard on making his 'crate' a safe place for him. It has actually become one of his favorite places to be. When he has an accident or does something he's not supposed to. He retreats to his crate. It's so cute to watch him go to it, lay down and look at me with those eyes. Its like he's saying 'dad I'm sorry. I really didn't mean to. Please forgive me'. There's just no way you can stay mad at him. He knows nothing but love and he's shown us love everyday since we got him home. It breaks my heart to write this because I just cannot believe someone would abandon such an amazing loving gentle pet. He has come such a long way in the short time we've had him and I just know for a fact he's going to make an amazing pet for someone.
