About Sable

Sable is a border terrier girl who is totally adorable and totally afraid of the world! she came to us with her sister and were adopted out together and were making progress with their shyness at their new home. Unfortunately the neighbor left their back gate open and the 2 girls went wandering. Sables sister was hit and killed by a car, devastating poor Sable who was so bonded with her. Now she has to overcome that loss and the people decided to bring her back to TRACS. This poor girl is enduring all this change at one time. She is sad and she is having difficulty liking the world now. We are making progress with her but she still has some time to go before she can trust and enjoy human company. She is already spayed and chipped and fully vaccinated and will be adoptable to someone who has some time and patience to offer her. she is so cute and so worth the effort. Sable is about 2 years old and about 15 pounds. Her adoption fee is $200.
