About Achiles

Achilles is a 2 1/2 year old neutered pit bull. He has a lot of energy and needs to be walked every day. He likes/needs a lot of attention. Would best fit in a home with NO kids.He likes men and women, but tends to want to be around men more. He used to share a home with a small Chiweenie and they played well. He has not been around other dogs for about a year now that our living situation changed. So I can not say how he will do with other dogs right away. He likes to play fetch, loves balls and squeaky toys. He HAS to stay on a Nutro Dog food diet, any other brands he will break out in a rash on his belly and scratches until it bleeds. He does take awhile to warm up to new people, but once he does he is very lovey. We will be interviewing any potential adopters. If there is a dog in the home we will have a meet and greet first, we will be asking for vet references, and doing a home check to see where he would possibly be living. I am not in a rush to rehome him, I am looking for a forever home and loving family for Achilles.
