About Nanook

Nanook is a 5.5 year old bi-eyed Siberian Husky. He needs to be run or exercised daily. All other times he is mostly sedentary. He does not do well with children and while he does like belly rubs he will nip or bite if his face or head is touched. He is food aggressive and most of the times he has bitten it was because he felt his food was threatened. He is also a den dog. Whatever he considers to be his den, he is very protective of. He is not a bad dog he just has aggression issues and we cannot keep him with our children. He would do good with a single and preferably male owner and a large area to run. He loves cold weather but doesn't do well in the heat. He does not chew or destroy anything and he does not dig. He travels long distances in vehicles well as he has been a traveling companion for my husband for several years. He is up to date on vaccines and is house trained. Very intelligent animal but is also very stubborn. He's been to obedience training.
