About River

River was surrendered by his elderly owner who could no longer take care of this young boy. At 18 months old he still has alot of puppy energy and could use an active home where he could go on walks, hikes or run around in a fenced in yard. River is crate trained and walks well on a leash. He loves to play and also rides well in a car. River does like to chase cats so a feline free home would suit him best. He can be picky about his human companions and generally prefers women over men. A home without children is preferred as well. River is looking for someone with experience with his breed that will give him the love, attention and training that he needs to become an awesome family member he was meant to be. River weighs approximately 53 pounds.
