About Tyler

Hi I'm Tyler! I am a 4 year old hound mix. I was found by the local police after I was chained to a tree with two other dogs after my owner was arrested. We survived a week with no food and only rainwater. I am very nervous around men especially, but will warm up with patience and love. I was previously a hog dog, but my future is as a family pet only. I need a quiet and patient family to help me come out of my shell. I was adopted for about a month, but unfortunately, he had to bring me back because he wouldn't keep me inside like I need to be! I would love to be an inside dog so I can be a part of the family. I am great with other dogs as long as we have a proper introduction, sometimes strange dogs rushing up to me freaks me out a little. I am absolutely an angel with people and being able to be in a home for about a month really helped me learn to trust people more. I don't even cower anymore when people go to pet me! I would love to be able to go home soon so I don't have to stay at the shelter very long again.
