'Oh, I really wish I wasn't here, waiting for a home in a shelter and instead, I was snuggled up on your couch next to you. Wouldn't that be so nice... Hello! My name is Kathleen and I'm the best dog in the whole wide world. Seriously, the shelter staff here don't know how great I really am. I'm around 8 years old, but still know how to have fun. I'm a Treeing Walker Coonhound and originally came to SVASC as a stray that went unclaimed. Psh, the nerve, I know. Anyways, I'm wonderful, or so I've been told. I'm pretty easy going and don't mind doing whatever it is that you're doing. I get along well with large, calm dogs and really enjoy playgroups with them. I never jump up and take treats easily too, so I should be good with kids. I am likely house-trained and I walk well on a leash. What more could you ask?
