Devoted family member! Low key and easy to please! Loves homelife and walks! She's a loyal and lovable girl with a funny snaggle-tooth grin. She's spayed, up-to-date on shots, house-trained, and not at all destructive. She looking for loving family in a quiet location with a fenced yard! Rosie is easy to please because her main goal in life is having someone to love and someone to love her back. She is low energy, and calm most of the time. Her favorite things to do are going on daily walks and hanging out indoors with family. She's also likes playing fetch with sticks, traveling in a car, and running free in a contained area. Ninety-five percent of Rosie is all about companionship and family life. Though a low-key dog, she needs a new home because her current family is not experienced with the one issue Rosie has, which is a type of fear aggression triggered by strangers. Even when with her person in the yard or neighborhood, she is not a fan of delivery people, neighbors, and passing dogs and people while on walks. If allowed, she will lunge and bark. One time she bit a delivery person, but it was not serious. She should be put in another room or leashed when a stranger visits. Rosie is known to get along with familiar dogs and is fine when other dogs ignore her on walks, but we suggest no dogs in the home. She is good with small animals and has previous experience with a cat. We suggest dog-savvy cats, though. She now lives with a guinea pig and chickens but ignores them after some initial curiosity. She has never bitten another animal. Rosie's issues can be managed by a person with some experience. A quieter neighborhood will also help. A trainer whom Rosie has worked with will show you how to best handle these situations. Rosie is very well-behaved with him, but he advises that new people be treated as potential triggers. After the trainer worked with Rosie, he remarked that Rosie just needs consistent cues to follow, daily exercise, and a good diet. He said, 'She is the sweetest dog who just wants to lay down at your feet and get a head scratch every now and then.' Rosie would do well in a quiet home in a spread out neighborhood or rural area without lots of coming and going. She likes kids and is calm and patient with them. New owners must be comfortable keeping Rosie under close control if visitors come by. ~ THIS IS A COURTESY POST ~ PLZ DO NOT CONTACT MASSPAWS ~ If you are interested in this dog, please complete an ARK application by copying and pasting this link into your browser: https://tiny.cc/ARK-Application Serious inquiries please email ARK for more information: [email protected]
