SHARE pledge FOSTER adopt and #SAVEZEUS now! ZEUS, ID# 87345 About 4 yrs old Weight 64 lbs @ Manhattan ACC Large Mixed Breed, Tan / White Male, Owner Surrender Reason: Owner surrender due to inability to care for in the home Shelter Assessment Rating: NEW HOPE ONLY No children (under 13) Medical Behavior Rating: Red I came into the shelter as a owner surrender on 2/23/2020, with the surrender reason stated as person circumstance- no time for animal. Sorry, this pet is for new hope partners only. Zeus is at risk for behavioral reasons. Zeus came to us as an owner surrender after his owner experienced personal matters and was no longer able to care for him. Zeus is described as a friendly, energetic dog who loves to be pet and enjoys playing fetch and tug. Though he is also reported to express distance increasing behaviors around unfamiliar people and can become weary. At the care center, Zeus has exhibited a high stress response and has allowed for only minimal handling and seems to become tense around other dogs. Zeus would be best suited for placement with a new hope partner that can provide a low stress environment to better evaluate his behavior and provide the necessary gradual behavior modification and management and should seek an experienced adopter. Medically, Zeus seems healthy. My medical notes are... Weight: 64 lbs Vet Notes 2/25/2020 DVM Intake Exam Estimated age: 3-5 years Microchip noted on Intake?
