About Anya von Anzing

Anya von Anzing is a beautiful 10 to 11-month-old smaller-sized German shepherd mix. This foxy-looking girl is as sweet as they come with the softest fur you can imagine. While she is quite shy at first, she blossoms into a wiggly ball of kisses, always looking for pets and love, when she gets to know you. Anya has a goofy side, too, often telling you about her day and what she wants out of life. This includes going outside as she is fully housebroken. She's even learning how to use a doggie door! Anya is great about climbing into her crate at night when it's time to sleep, though she still struggles a bit with separation anxiety if left alone. That is improving daily, though, as she learns that her human always comes back for her. Once she warms up to them, Anya loves dogs of all sizes and, true to her puppy nature, wants to play all day. While she hasn't been around cats, her personality suggests that she will be fine with them as well. Anya would do best in a home with older children who understand she gets scared easily and will need time to adjust to her new surroundings and family. She would also do best with a canine friend in the home. Anya comes from a rural area and was rather overwhelmed when she arrived at the big city shelter surrounded by loud dogs. Fortunately, she found a foster home where she has felt more secure and has come out of her shell. However, she will still need an experienced owner who will work patiently with her as she learns to trust her new humans. She is getting more comfortable walking on a leash and coming to you when you call. She's such a smart girl, though, that all she needs is training. Anya really wants to find someone to love.
