About Boomer

Meet Boomer! He is an adorable 9 year old terrier mix who weighs 12.5 pounds. Boomer came to us when his mommy became ill. The doctor said she needed a very clean environment to heal, with no pets. His daddy was heartbroken to give him up, and we need to make sure he gets the best home ever so his dad knows he's being well taken care of! Boomer is a very affectionate boy. He loves to be on your lap, giving kisses. His foster family say he is personality plus! He has plenty of facial expressions! One of them is when Boomer is on your lap and you stop petting him, he turns his head to look at you as if to say 'Why did you stop? I was enjoying that! More please!' Boomer likes to roll around on his back and if you don't pay him attention by petting him, Boomer says 'Hey! I'm down here!' He gets along with other dogs, and has not been around cats or kids since he's been with us. He should be fine with older kids based on his friendly and affectionate temperament. He is housebroken and uses a doggy door. Boomer is up to date on shots, neutered, heartworm negative, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. We really are looking for a special home for this sweet boy so he, and his daddy who loves him so much, know he is well loved and cared for.
