Name: Charlie Age: 14 years Breed: 'Mutt' Sex: Male (confirmed neutered) Location: Baltimore, MD Vet Info: Charlie is confirmed neutered, and is next due for his rabies vaccine in August, 2020. Charlie is heartworm negative per his owner. His owner believes Charlie is completely blind due to cataracts. He weighs about 70 pounds. Owner Info: Charlie is a very handsome fellow whose owners are no longer able to care for him as each has a serious illness, and his dad is near bedridden. They have asked family and friends and shared on social media, but have not been able to find Charlie a new home. His owners' daughter is unable to take Charlie in, and is doing her best to care for her parents, Charlie, and her own family, while still working. They are all very much hoping we can help! Charlie is an indoor dog who is crated. He is housebroken but not leash trained. Charlie is a friendly fellow and is good with people of all ages. His owner's daughter gave us more information about how he is with other animals: 'I do believe he is fine with other dogs as I have taken my female coonhound to my mothers in the past. But I am not sure about male dogs, I will try to determine if need be.' Charlie currently lives with two cats and is fine with them. Charlie is not possessive of toys, treats, or food and has never bitten or snapped. Charlie's owner's daughter feels he adapts well to new situations and writes, 'I would think so he is such a good boy.Although he has only ever lived with my parents since he was 8 weeks old.'
