About Sanibel

Australian Shepherd mix
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Female

Sweet, Silly Sanibel is full of life and love and looking for her forever family! This cute 5 month old Aussie mix weighs 32 lbs and is the perfect mix of puppy and maturing little lady. The puppy in her comes out, especially when she is playing with her fur-foster sister and when she is outside-she loves to run, jump and play. She also enjoys calm, relaxing time. Going on walks is a favorite and she walks well on a leash. Car rides are another one of her favorite things to do. She loves playing with her fur-foster sister but also is happy and content just playing by herself with her toys. She knows basic commands and sometimes when you tell her no it seems to hurt her feelings. Sanibel likes to take long naps on the sofa and catches on quickly to new things in her life but can also be a little shy at times. She loves everyone she meets from toddlers to seniors. She is crate trained and is doing great with house training. There are no cats at foster, but she is good with small dogs. Sanibel is up to date on all vaccines. If your heart is open to her sassy, silly, sensitive Sanibel is ready and willing to open her heart and become your best, forever friend. She is fostered in New Holland, PA. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all volunteer organization and we are always looking for more help. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at www.pack9rescue.org or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption.
