About Marty

Pit Bull mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

TO BE KILLED 3/3/20 please foster or adopt to save sweet Marty , just a puppy !! If you have no other pets please call me , Marty needs you now , his life depends on it ! Adopted in January, and returned in February, tiny 26 pound MARTY is just a baby puppy who has seen more change in his short life than most see in a lifetime. Found wandering the streets back in January, he was brought to the shelter where he made lots of friends with volunteers and staff alike, and then was quickly adopted at an 'event.' But his family were most likely not dog savvy people, and a puppy is a not a toy. A puppy is like any young child. They need patience and guidance, structure and training, and in Marty's case - a soft voice, a gentle hand, and time to decompress to get by the ordeals he has been through. Marty is incredibly sweet, but he is also shy and vulnerable, and he needs a family who can give him time to warm at his own pace, to his new family and surroundings, and be treated with kindness. He's simply adorable (watch his movie below), and the volunteers adore him. If you are an experienced foster or adopter in a home with no young children (under age 5), and can give this boy the Happy Ever After he so deserves, please hurry and message our page or email us at [email protected] for assistance.
