About Pippi

Protective snuggle bug looking for low traffic, high energy home! It is with sadness in our hearts that we list this sweet girl. We rescued Pippi in November 2018 and she is now close to two years old. She is mainly hound/herder with 25% pit. She has strong protective behaviors when strangers approach and family members are nearby. She has nipped a couple of people who entered the yard while my children were out there with her. She is NOT aggressive, she IS protective. She is actually a very loving, affectionate dog. Pippi is VERY high energy. She knows the commands sit, leave it and comes to a whistle. She loves to play active games or chase a flirt toy. She needs some leash training work. She needs someone who can put in more training time than we have OR for someone with less constant flow of new people who wants a guard dog. We are located in Travis county/Oak hill and I would want to do a couple visits/play times before sending her to her new home. $75 re-homing fee - comes with crate and toys.
