About Daisy

Poor Daisy has had a rough start. She found herself in the hands of a convicted animal abuser. She was locked in a tiny crate sitting in her own waste, or once allowed out of the crate she was tethered to the deck on a short lead for long periods of time. Luckily the neighbor kept an eye on her so when she jumped the deck railing and hung herself the neighbor was there to save her, and convince the 'owner' to give her up. The neighbor contacted PMAR and asked if we could take her in. Daisy is settling into her new NE PA foster home, and so far seems good with other dogs and all people. We will get her vetted and altered and ready to find a true forever family. All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary. Vet references are required and prior to adoption a home inspection will be conducted. Transport options available. Adoption fee applies. If interested go to www.pmarinc.org for an application.
