About Bailey

Bailey is a 1 year old Blue Heeler spayed female dog. She was found abandoned out near our farm in the country 3 months ago. She was underweight, scared, in heat and had a horrible infection when we brought her home. Since then she has recovered her health, been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and loved a whole bunch. We had hopes of keeping her with our family, however she has turned out to be quite dominate. This a problem because out other female Heeler rules the roost around here. Bailey has unfortunately made it her mission in life to take out our other female. For this reason she will not be able to continue on with us. We have 3 male dogs, all of which she gets on with fine. We also have 3 cats she has done great around. We have 5 and 7 year old children, she has shown no aggression towards either. She did nip the neighbor boys ankle once trying to herd him around our house. No damage was done though. She also felt the need to protect me from a teenage boy that saw us at the park and wanted to pet her. She is standoffish towards strangers and makes a great guard dog because of this. She is on the smaller side at 30 lbs. it takes her a little time to warm up to someone new, but once she has she'll be your best companion. She makes a wonderful nap buddy. Please help us find her a forever home.
