Herbie & Howdy are very sweet and playful best friends. Howdy loves attention and belly rubs and is super friendly ... Herbie is a little more on the shy side and somewhat timid in his approach but he does warm up after getting to know and trust you. When meeting new people, both are just a bit hesitant but with some patience and coaxing, they'll make new friends once comfortable with the situation. We believe they are dad and son. They were found on the streets together and as in many cases not wearing ID and not chipped. They so loving, we knew they must have a family but no one ever responded to our lost and found efforts. Herbie & Howdy are good on leashes and love long walks -- they skip and click their heals when they set off on their walks. :) Both are well mannered and are great when other dogs and pets they meet when out on their walks. These boys love food and are easy and appreciative eaters. They also love their little doggie beds, they can spend hours just lounging on them after walks and meals even though the couch is available-- they still tend to choose their doggie beds. They are so bonded, they follow each other around, sleep together and share their doggie beds and meal bowls. They're absolutely adorable together. Children in the home are okay but should be at least 12 years old and respectful and responsible. Ages are estimated at 2 & 3 years old and they are a terrier/chihuahua mix. They've now been fully vetted by Pathways -- check up, neuter, vaccines, microchip, and each will come with color coded collar (so you know who's who) :) and ID tag, along with harness and leash for their walks.
