About Grizz

Hi! I'm Grizz! I'm a 7yo male mix Vizsla. I love Riding in the car, Going for walks, and Playing in water. I'm crate trained, sensitive to strangers until I've smelled them (they usually must not make direct eye contact when we first meet). I have been around indoor cats, but my hunting instincts are strong and I'll chase them when we're outside. I am used to young children and enjoy playing chase and 'keep away' with them. But when I'm tired or ready for bed I get cranky and need my space. I do NOT like swimming. I'm Housebroken, Used to collar and leash, Periodically Destructive when left unsupervised, Walk nicely on leash with an experienced handler and I Pull on the leash with inexperienced handlers, I can be a finicky eater because of my tummy troubles (ask for more info), I will jump on/around people when excited, I've never been known to jump a fence, but I can be a digger when left alone outside too long. I will sneak food off a counter if left unsupervised, I Howl with phone ringtones (it's pretty adorable), I love to run (and will bolt out the door if given the opportunity but jingle your car keys and offer me a car ride!), I know several tricks and am UTD on shots.
