About Luna

But don't let epilepsy scare you she is on medication and has not had a seizure - she just needs to stay on her meds (which is super cheap). Luna is not the type of dog that will lay next to you on the couch and cuddle during a movie; well that may happen after a 3-mile walk and a full tummy but otherwise Luna likes to be on the go! Luna has lots of energy and needs an active household. So, if you are training for Robie Creek - she would be up for that! If you love trail hiking, running on the greenbelt or any other high energy activity Luna is your girl. She is house trained and crate trained but due to her medication does tend to have to go outside more often. Her exposure to children has been limited and she will occasionally jump up on you with excitement - so a household with children over 10 would be best. She would do well with another doggie friend in the house that will tolerate she constant playing. She does do ok with cats but will chase them if they run. This pretty girl is still a puppy and will chew on things that may not be a dog toy - so having a good supply of things she can play with and chew on is key. Luna continues to work on her basic commands; she is very food motivated and a quick learner but can be stubborn. She loves car rides and learning to walk on a leash - when she sees other people/dogs she will pull to get to them faster to say hello. She needs someone who can continue to work with her and help her learn and grow. A puppy class is a GREAT idea for her and for her new humans; it's a great bonding experience and a lot of fun. If you are looking for a companion to go out and do things with Luna would be a great girl for you.
