Rory Boxer mix Male 8 months old 38lbs and growing Hi everyone, I'm Rory, and I am here to tell you a little bit about myself in hopes of finding someone to love me. I'm a little timid but so so sweet and I can't wait to find a forever family who understands that I just need time and love. I had a traumatic start to life when I was thrown out of a moving car in southern Colorado. I clearly hadn't received kindness and love early on in my life so I'm a little bit slow to open up to new people. But I am doing SO well in my foster home and I just need a forever home with a family who can give me lots of time, patience, and positive reinforcement. I love getting affection from my foster mom and dad and I'm learning more and more each day that I can trust and be the happy pup I'm meant to be! I really like to be around other dogs, and get excited with my foster siblings when something fun is going on. I think having a doggie friend in my new forever home would be really important since it brings me so much happiness. I'm learning so much about being in a loving home! I'm learning to be comfortable in a kennel (it's becoming like a little home for me when my foster family is away!) and I'm catching on to potty training so fast. I like to sneak up to my foster parents' bed, put my front paws on the edge of it and get my chin scratched. It feels realllly nice.
