I may be a Boxer mix, but I can wiggle with the best of them! I love chasing my balls and am an excellent fetcher and catcher. I know lots of cool tricks too! I can shake a hand, sit, lie down, roll over and BANG. I love walks! I get super excited so daily walks would be best to ease that excitement. I love playing with my ball and dream of going to the park and chasing my ball with a good game of fetch, but we haven't done that yet. I don't use a crate but I don't need to as I'm excellent at staying home by myself. I have the best manners! I don't get into anything; not even my own food! I do like to get on the couch, but my favorite spot is in front of the fire. I love looking out the window too and may alert you to things going on out there. My bark is big, but I don't mean anything by it, I just want everyone to know I'm there. When people greet me, I wiggle extra and show them my toys. Foster Mom here: Jaeger (I call her Lady) is a sweet, smart girl. I'm sure there are more tricks she knows that I haven't discovered yet. She is agile, and can jump... you would think she's still a pup! She does get a little anxious on car rides and in strange surroundings, but we are practicing. We are also practicing 'Watch Me' while out on our walks and she responds perfectly; or maybe she just really likes bacon. When home alone, she sleeps, mostly on her spot on the couch. She waits to be invited on the bed. When I'm home she stays near, often looking out the window. She is a little unsure so will let us know when someone is at the door or when we are in the car and she sees other dogs; She is improving as she gains confidence. She does enjoy a good chase with her balls and would think chasing a kitty is fun. 'Lady' is a playful girl and will bring her bone, ball or rope for a little fun attention. Her Boxer wiggle never gets tired. This smart, well-mannered, regal girl is an excellent, playful companion. This special Lady, will need someone who will continue to work with her to ease her anxiety while she settles in. 'Lady' is loving and loyal to her person and a cuddler to the third power.
