Blossom is a one-year-old Domestic Shorthair Cat that is a beautiful dilute Tortishell. Blossom came to us and when so confused. She had spent most of her life with her mom and not around many people. She was very confused by life outside of her cage, but quickly caught on to life being a cat! One thing about Blossom is that she does have herpes. This is a disease that is VERY COMMON among cats, especially rescue cats. Studies have shown over 80% of cats have some form of the virus. But, it is a virus that is extremely manageable and will let Blossom still lead a healthy and happy life. When you adopt Blossom, we will give you all the necessary information to ensure that Blossom's life is great. Blossom's foster describes her as, 'Blossom is not the cat I thought she would be. I expected her to be timid and weary to her new environment. She was-for like 6 hours. Soon after coming out of her carrier, she let her wild personality come out. She is a crazy young lady and she loves her toys. The first toy was successfully broken within a week. She uses her energy to run around the apartment like a madwoman. It took her a few days to be comfortable to touch and pets, but now she always asks for them. She's made my bed her bed as well sleeping with her head on the pillow and she is a purring machine. She's super curious about unknown objects and new people. One quirk that I love the most is her persistent licking of fingers. She's been the best from when I need a laugh too when I need someone to comfort me after crying.' Blossom has no issues using her litterbox and is a super friendly cat. Blossom has been living with her mom and seems to enjoy other cats. But, Blossom must go to a home with no other cats OR a family with other herpes positive cats.
