About Prescious

Purebred Rottweiler 3 yrs old 98 lbs Precious is very happy, loving and affectionate with her family. She is playful and loves to go for walks and car rides. This girl is fun loving! When she sees strangers out on her walks she is wary of them, but no barking or growling. A stranger could not just walk up and pet her without first allowing her to sniff and from some good vibes from her owner. Introductions should be made slowly. Precious is protective of her car, yard and home��%BD'��%BD|she will bark fiercely and warn strangers not to approach. She will allow visitors if they ignore her and allow her to sniff and become comfortable with them. Of course, this is if her owners are sending good vibes and encouraging that all is ok. She previously lived in a back yard of a bad neighborhood. She was allowed inside sometimes, and is housetrained. She is also crate trained. If she were to go to a vet for a checkup, her owner would need to be present for all times she is touched by others, and restrain her if necessary. I have not seen her act up with our vets, but I have been present and she was a very good girl. She trusts her people. She was getting intramuscular injections in the back for her heartworm treatment and didn't make a peep or move a muscle. She allowed me to restrain her wonderfully. I really love this dog. If I had room for a big dog, she would be staying here. Precious seems to not really give a hoot about other dogs currently, but I believe she is stressed being at our kennel. ALL SHE WANTS MOST IN THE WORLD IS TO BE WITH HER PEOPLE! She LOVES attention and to be near YOU! It is likely she will play with another dog once she settles in a new home, but I still don't see her being a huge playmate. More a companion. She is bossy over food and does not want to share her chews/treats with others��%BD'��%BD|but she is not vicious about it. She lives harmoniously with several other medium to large breed adult dogs no problem. Precious is spayed and finished with her heartworm treatment. She is up to date on all vaccines, dewormings and flea control. Her adoption fee is $175.
