About Astro

Astro (formerly Peaches) was rescued 9 months ago from a overcrowded house. Previous owner did not specify that she is afraid of any male, including my husband. Small children make her shake uncontrollably when we pass by on walks. After 10 months of working with her, she still won't stay in the same room with a male. When I am out of town she will stay in her crate until I return. We also have a senior dog who is very ill and she is becoming more aggressive towards him. Astro is a very loving dog towards females, she loves to play Frisbee and walks great on a leash. She is house trained, crate trained and up to date on all her shots and heart worm medications. She is predominately a Red Heeler, but we think there is another breed mix as well. I only want the best for Astro. I feel she will do really well in a home with females only, where she is no longer frightened by past experiences. She has calmed down from when we first got her, but I am not home enough to keep working with her. I love her dearly and only want the best for her. She is only 4 years old and deserves a loving female only furever home.
