About Porkchop

Six year old Porkchop came to us from ACCT Philly with a rather 'odd' gait. After a neuro consult and some x-rays, we learned Porkchop had tears in both ACL's in the past that he never received vet care for. Eventually scar tissue built up around both injuries to stablize his knees, making him ineligible for surgical correction. To add insult to injury, Porkchop was also diagnosed with bilateral hip dysplasia. Porkchop doesn't let any of this get in his way and is a happy and active wrecking ball in his foster home! Porkchop loves playing with other dogs, although he tends to fall head over heels in love with them quickly and treats them like an obsession. Since he isn't eligible for surgery, he is available for adoption with a medical waiver to continue his physical therapy. He would do best with older kids, no kitties please!
