About MeMe

'MeMe' is an adorable, 1 yr old, 45-50 lb. Border Collie mix female we rescued from a high kill pound, along with her mother ('Rhea') and brother ('JR'). MeMe looks very 'Border Collie' in appearance, which a fluffy coat and white, dappled paws (one leg has a 'knee sock'), and a white tip on her tail. MeMe can be shy at first, but once she warms up and trusts, is so incredibly loving! MeMe will then gladly snuggle, getting hugs, will give soft kisses, and even 'paw'! Playful, but not overly rambunctious, she will 'smile', tail wag, and want to romp abit with her Mom ('Rhea') or brother ('JR'). A very sweet, tenderhearted girl who just needs a little time & patience to come out of her shell ... and the blossoming is so worth it! When she is fully acclimated, she will smile, wag her tail, be ever so happy to see & be with you ... just a real joy to have around. MeMe has not been cat-tested. MeMe has been spayed, de-wormed, is current on vaccinations, on monthly heart worm preventative, crate-trained and house-trained. This rescue does not administer it's own vaccination shots. All of our rescued dogs' medical care has been administered by a licensed Veterinarian. All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., pro-biotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
