*** EMOTIONAL SUPPORT DOG CANDIDATE ! *** 'TWINK' is an adorable 1 year old, 55 lb Plott hound with beautiful brown eyes. She has a lighter brown coat with brindle marks and really loves running with her long legs - whole new definition of the zoomies (she's still growing.) She was rescued with her sister 'Blink' who is a little shorter and they have a great time playing together. Twink is a very loving girl who wants to please you and will come when she is called. She knows the sit command and walks great on a leash. She is crate trained and has never gone in her crate or the house (although she has been at a dead run to get out the back door.) She gets along with our other fosters and our dogs (including the one that is a little more aggressive - she runs him all over the backyard and wears him out!) and loves to play. She is always very excited to see her family when they have been gone or when she gets up in the morning. She loves giving you a hug (puts her head over your shoulder and just snuggles up.)She will come up to you and put her paws on your chest and be real still hoping you will pet her and hug her but not forcefully enough to cause you to holler at her to get down. She will get down immediately if you tell her to. She is not a barker unless there's a reason and just has the sweetest disposition. She will immediately focus on whoever is calling her and see what it is they want her to do because she wants to please her family. She is a pup with a real expressive face! She will watch you when she is hanging out to make sure she knows where you are in case she wants some love. She is a wonderful young dog who wants to be with her family whenever she can and she can fit into just about any situation. She loves to snuggle and play with toys. She is very curious which is normal for a puppy but has never chewed up anything and she loves hanging out in the garage while the husband is working out there.' Twink Due to Blink's young age, her optimal home would be with slightly older children. (6+ yrs old. Blink has been spayed, de-wormed, micro-chipped, is current on vaccinations, on monthly heart worm preventative, crate-trained and house-trained. This rescue does not administer it's own vaccination shots. All of our rescued dogs' medical care has been administered by a licensed Veterinarian. All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., pro-biotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
