About JADA

Adoption Fee: $200
Himalayan / Persian
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

JADA is a beautiful 5 year old BLUE CREAM POINT HIMALAYAN. Her foster mom calls her 'The Ultimate Ankle Jewelry'. As you can tell by her extreme face, she is purebred. When the shelter contacted her foster mom about taking her, Jada had the typical upper respiratory issues common to Persians and they needed someone willing to take her and get her healthy. Initially she was pretty nasty to her foster mom, but after about 9 months of learning to trust her foster mom she is always wrapping herself around her foster mom's ankles. *** Getting pictures of this little lady is a bit of a challenge because she just won't stay far enough away for her foster to take better pictures : ) *** Jada is all female. She weighs just under 9 pounds. She currently lives in a multi-cat household but the first few months were challenging because she would take on all the males and beat them up. Once they knew she was the boss, things mellowed out but her foster mom knows that Jada would rather be an only cat and it would certainly be better for others cats if she were allowed to be the Only Queen of her new home. *** Jada was shaved about three months ago but if you look at her tail, you can tell she has a beautiful full long coat normally. She either needs to be shaved every 6 months or groomed regularly to keep her from matting. She has fairly heavy eye drainage. Her foster mom cleans Jada's eyes and the creases on her face daily to keep her looking beautiful. She should be considered high maintenance. Someone who wants a cat that is just there would not be happy with her. We don't know how Jada would react to children. She needs maintenance and wants attention, just not necessarily at the same time... You are thinking to yourself 'Typical Female', and guess what, you are absolutely right! (3
