About Jackson

Jackson is a very loving and very affectionate Pit-bull Terrier. He is great with both adults and children regardless of gender. He's very well house broken, and will happily notify you when he has to go out by either gently licking your hands, casually grunting at you, or simply standing by the door while looking at you impatiently. He loves nothing more than to be petted and given attention, along with playing tug of war with his rope toys. Jackson is about a medium energy dog who very much enjoys walks and playing but balances it out with being content to laying about the house, sleeping on couches or in his dog bed. He loves to cuddle both on the couch and in bed along with being covered by a blanket while he sleeps. Unfortunately he does not get along with other dogs but he has been able to live comfortably with cats who can put him in his place when he gets a tad too nosy. He does have minor skin allergies which manifest as a red rash on his inner thighs and with irritation in his ears which causees him to scratch at them causing abrasions and cuts. To remedy this he has been on Apoquel which when taken daily almost completely negates all the irritations for him. These symptoms seem to appear in dryer conditions, such as in the winter when the house is being warmed by a heater thus dropping the humidity. Jackson would make a wonderful addition to a family, big or small as he has yet to meet a person that he doesn't immediately fall in love with, he's a caring and loving companion with a beautiful heart. He wants nothing more than to love and be loved.
